About UsGift Bod is the brainchild of Katie Frost, a housewife and mother of two children aged 5 and 6 years old. She was saying how hard it is to buy for other kids birthday parties and Christmas so she came up with GiftBod.
"I was tidying my daughter, Isabelle's bedroom after her 6th birthday. She had received so many presents I couldn't find the space for all of them, it dawned on me that most of them would never be played and some she had already got!" said Katie. What makes Gift Bod different from other gift list sites is that it's aimed entirely at kids and you can buy from a number of retailers either online or offline.
We're hoping that it really helps parents in organising parties and hopefully even the kids will use it to create their own lists. We were (and still are to a lesser degree) a little worried that people may feel it's a bit "cheeky" to ask for presents but we hope that the gently worded invites on the site make it easier.
