Gift Bod allows you to create gift lists so that people who wish to buy a gift for your childs birthday, Christmas or any other event, can buy something that your child actually wants.

Once you've registered on Gift Bod you can create as many lists as you like. You simply browse the site adding the gifts to your gift list as you go. At any time you can go back to My Lists and see the Gift Bod code. This is the code that you give to the people that you wish to see the list. They will only see the gifts that you've added to the list. They can then opt to buy the item or reserve it - once they've done this, others will not be able to buy the same item.

It's not as complicated as it looks! It's as easy as this :

Step 2. Create a gift list

Once you're registered and logged in select the "Create Gift List" option.

This will take you to a page where you enter the basic details of who the gift list is for - your son's birthday, your daughters Christmas list and so on.

Step 3. Add items to the gift list

Once the gift list is created simply click the "Add item" to list option and browse through the thousands of products we have. Just click the "Add to list" option and keep shopping until you've added everything you need.

You can add items to the list at any time by going to "My Lists" and selecting the appropriate list. You can create as many lists as you wish for any event by it birthday, Christmas, etc.

Once your list is created you need to be able to tell people how to view the list. In the "My lists" section you will see that each gift list has a Gift Bod code. This is the code that means that when others login to the site they can see your gift list. As they buy items from the list, other people will not be able to buy the same item (unless you've added it more than once).

You can send an email to your friends by using the "Invite Friend" option that is in the "My lists" section. This simply sends your message in an email with the Gift Bod code.

You don't have to send the invites out by email - you can simply put the Gift Bod code on your party invites so people just come onto GiftBod.co.uk, register, enter the Gift Bod code and there's the list!
